Network Ontario 04.03.2021

2020 has been a challenging year for everyone. We would like to thank all our customers for their continued support. A personal friend shared this earlier and I thought this was a great idea for many small businesses. Please share so that others may see the value in spreading awareness of small businesses.

On Monday we delivered our second batch of 100 "ear saver" bands for healthcare workers at Georgetown Hospital (Halton Healthcare). These bands hold the elastic strap of the masks to assist with reducing pressure on the ears. 3D printing material was generously donated by Natalina Sommavilla Maccagnan (Tina Zannona) and 3D printing completed on our sole 3D printer here in Georgetown at Network Ontario! Thank you to all the frontline healthcare workers. You are heros in our communities!

To our valued clients and friends: Network Ontario is committed to providing a safe working environment for our clients and staff. Please see the below updates for further information regarding our response to the COVID-19 pandemic. SUPPORT... Due to the ongoing concerns with COVID-19 our office will remain closed to visitors. On-site support and installations will be suspended until further notice unless deemed critical and will be scheduled for off-peak hours where person to person interaction is limited. As always we have provisions to support and monitor all clients remotely to ensure we can provide assistance where needed. However, do keep in mind that not all items can be completed remotely and we will do our best to accommodate. CYBERSECURITY From a cybersecurity perspective, please also be vigilant in protecting yourself and your colleagues/business and family members. As with any threat, attackers leverage the vulnerability and fear that these situations bring. Be cautious of phone calls, text messages, e-mail messages and other social platform messages that ask for personal information, credit/payment information or have links/attachments to offers for support or updated information. If you are uncertain of the authenticity of the sender/sourcedo not open any attachments or links. Watch out for subtle mistakes, odd sentence structure or greetingsthese are some of the items that can indicate a malicious or phishing attack. ALARM MONITORING We would also like to take this opportunity to advise our alarm monitoring clients that measures have already been taken at our monitoring center to minimize the risk of contamination, and centers are staffed in multiple central stations across Canada to limit the risk of the impact of a station contamination. We appreciate your continued business and support during these difficult times. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
