"The next step will be to develop a potent and specific ALYREF inhibitor - a drug capable of inhibiting the actions of this molecule and to test this in laboratory models "This research provides new knowledge as a basis for drug discovery," said Dr Cheung. "Once we find a suitable drug candidate, we can take this to clinical trial in children with high levels of MYCN and ALYREF in their tumours." https://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases//ccia-wdp032521.php

"Our identification of tumor-related transcriptional changes and molecular mechanisms underlying impaired differentiation may guide future studies on the functional evaluation of candidate genes, refined risk classification and generation of clinically relevant neuroblastoma models," they wrote in their paper. "Moreover, we have provided the framework to evaluate therapeutic concepts that are based on induction of differentiation." https://www.genomeweb.com//single-cell-transcriptomic-anal

To neuroblastoma families who have received Unituxin (dinutuximab immunotherapy, ch14.18) with irinotecan and temozolomide for relapsed disease, would you be willing to have a short conversation with me about your experience? I am working on the Patient Input Response to Health Canada to hopefully have the drug approved federally so it can be better accessed by relapsed and refractory neuroblastoma families. We need to make this as strong as possible. Thank you so much for your help. Neuroblastoma families who have experience with Unituxin can also fill out the survey at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RRUnituxin

Neuroblastoma Canada, the Canadian Organization for Rare Disorders and Ontario Parents Advocating for Children with Cancer would like to learn about your experiences with treatment for neuroblastoma cancer. If applicable, we would also like to know about your experiences with the immunotherapy treatment called Unituxin (also called dinutuximab, ch14.18, chimeric antibody or immunotherapy), and if you have received Unituxin in combination with irinotecan and temzolomide chemo...therapies for relapsed or refractory neuroblastoma. The input you provide will be used to help formulate a Patient Input Submission that will be used by the pan-Canadian Oncology Drug Review (pCODR) as part of their drug review process to inform their recommendation on Unituxin immunotherapy for the treatment of patients with relapsed and refractory neuroblastoma in combination with irinotecan and temozolomice. Patients and families located in and outside of Canada can take part in this survey. This survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. All of the information that you provide will remain anonymous. We thank you in advance for your contribution and greatly appreciate your participation in this survey. If you have any questions, please contact Antonia Palmer at [email protected] The deadline to complete this survey is by November 13, 2020 at 5pm Eastern Time. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RRUnituxin
