Good afternoon - we have been informed of the alert sent out by New Glasgow Police re: an on-going situation on Merigomish Road. Police are advising us that there is no threat to the school and we do not need to enter a Lockdown or Hold and Secure. If the situation is not resolved closer to the end of the day, there may be a need for a few students to have alternate travel plans, but at this time, school is continuing as usual and we will advise families if we have any updates .

We end our week with PJ Day and Pancake breakfast. Wishing everyone a very happy Holiday.

The Red Cross Babysittin...g Course will help you make good decisions and teach you the skills you need when watching over children. Although we are not currently able to have them come in for student photos, Pridham's Studio New Glasgow are able to host students in their studio on Archmedies St. If you would like to make an appointment to have your child's photo taken, you can contact them directly at 902-752-4282. If conditions change and we are able to have school photos at New Glasgow Academy, we will let all families know.
