A really good idea. In daycare the children have adults around to help them open things. We are also there to encourage but in kindergarten they are expected to be more independent and their time to eat is about 15 to 20 minutes. They also need to get out and play. Most 5 year olds would rather run with friends than eat lunch, even if it’s their favourite.
