Introducing...New Leaf Organizing! I often think of that movie Blended with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. She’s a professional closet organizer and on their first date he says something like What even is that?? Did you start with glove compartments and move your way up to closets?? That movie line (and my mother’s somewhat forceful lecture) was a driving force behind my decision to start this business. I love love love organizing and decluttering our home and thought I... could maybe use this passion and help others. I’ve always been pretty organized and neat (not to be confused with clean...I love to organize...I clean because I have to) but I realized I was passionate about being organized after my husband’s career change several years ago. His new career required us to relocate frequently (we have moved 4 times in 10 years!) and I quickly learned the more organized I was, the easier the move went. And being decluttered made the unpack easier as well. After 4 days of unpacking boxes of stuff you really get a feel for what you need and don’t need! Over the years, I’ve managed to get some pretty fantastic jobs in all the places we’ve lived but the time has come where I needed to make that hard decision...should I really do this? The only thing holding me back was my own fear and Adam Sandler‘s stupid comment. So this is where I’m at!
