Whatever pain is piercing our hearts today - Whatever past mistake we feel is looming over our head - Whatever worry of tomorrow we are dwelling on - God is with us.... To the person stuck in the mistakes of their past struggling with loneliness scared of what the future will bring past, present or future, we can hold tight to this promise from God: The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. (Deuteronomy 31:8) The Lord Himself is with us every day, and He always has been. We are not walking through life alone. We are not stuck in the mistakes of our past. We are not walking into the unknown of the future alone. Whatever our hearts are longing for today... Whatever past mistake we feel is looming over our head... Whatever worry of tomorrow we are dwelling on God is with us. Declare it today: God is with me always!

Post Thanksgiving: (Shared from a friend) Now that the turkey is but bones and skin, We scamper for tupperware to put leftovers in.... We've eaten and eaten 'til stuffed we are, We try to move but the couch is too far. So on the floor, with a moan we slide, Feeling so full and uncomfortable inside. But now that the festivities are over and done, We wait for the time we can have another one. Thanksgiving is over for another year, That's how it is, to many I fear. Thanksgiving my friends is not a one day thing, It's an attitude that must continuously from our hearts ring. For we have so much to be thankful for, When we think He's given all, He gives us more. It's impossible to ever thank Him too much, For HIs love and goodness, and His gentle touch. So for those of us who love the Lord, With thanking Him we'll never be bored. So come on brothers and sisters as well, Let's do our best our story to tell. To lift Him up, wherever we go, So others too His love may know. The giving of thanks is a year round thing, So with our hearts of joy, let's crown Him King!! Written by Ben Kellert -

As church attendance numbers fade across the nation and online services become very convenient (who doesn't love not getting ready in the morning or leaving the home?!), it's important to remember why church attendance for you and your family matters so much. You can't serve from your sofa. You can't have community of faith on your sofa. You can't experience the power of a room full of believers worshipping together on your sofa. Christians aren't consumers either. We are con...tributors. We don't watch. We engage. We give. We sacrifice. We encourage. We do life together. The church needs you. And you need the church. Wherever you are, find a local church where you and your family can be part of community and use your talents to advance the kingdom and reach others. To come alongside one another physically, not just through a screen. While I'm grateful for technology to keep people connected that can't physically come to a facility or need to be away, it's absolutely not like being in the building. Never will be. Yes, church on the sofa is nice. But it'll never be the same as church in the sanctuary.
