Replace your smoke detectors every 10 years. If your home is 2009 or older, it is time to replace your devices. I install CO/smoke detectors with voice communication, front load battery and low battery alert. Cost is 275 for 3 if just replacing existing. If you are in older home with only 1 or battery model, call for a quote.

As the year comes to an end, I am so grateful to my friends and clients who have helped me, thus my family, this year to start up Newcity Electric Inc. with great success. So here is the honest truth! 50 percent of my service calls are for finishing or repairing a previous electrician's work. One such call was repairing what an electrician, recommended by a trusted Beaumont family, who had installed a 20 amp outlet for a device that required 20 Amp but he left the wire and breaker for 15 amp. I take pride in learning all I can about my trade and I continue to do so everyday. Found this at a repeat customer's new home he purchased. 4 panels and several junction boxes removed and replaced with 1 panel properly labelled. I also rebuilt the wall behind the panel to be able to properly seal the vapour barrier and to keep the wall depth the same throughout for insulation and drywall.
