ORANGE SHIRT DAY We wear an orange shirt to honour the Indigenous children and families impacted by the residential school system. Orange Shirt Day grew out of Phyllis' story of having her new orange shirt taken away on her first day at St. Joseph Mission residential school in Williams Lake, BC. Today is an opportunity to come together in the spirit of reconciliation while remembering that every child matters! https://www.orangeshirtday.org/phyllis-story.html
