Since it's #InternationalTeachersDay I thought I'd share this restored and coloured pic of my Grade 1 class from St. Pat's in 1964 -65. See anyone you know?
Sable Chief, official mascot of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment during WW1, was well known for his immense size. At 3 years of age he weighed 150 lbs. He would march at the front of the band, keeping in step and would stand at attention during the Newfoundland National Anthem. (Colourized)
