We remember the sacrifice you made, both human and animal. Working together, you gave your life and youth to protect your nation. To those who have served and those who still serve, we remember you.

K9 Vinny completed a 1.4km live find track, three articles, three ~90 turns including initial track cutting along gravel road into field, bog/stream crossing, bark and hold alert. Currently, the handler is giving Vinny space to increase his bark alert at the end of the track. He does all of this for some rewarding play time with his quarry, Andrea! Vinny is just one of the multiple promising young dogs with the group who are training to meet RCMP Tracking standards.

Us at NLSD are extremely saddened of the passing of one of our founding members, Anne Barfett. Less than 10 years ago Anne had a dream and began working with others on a grass roots idea that has helped form the group you see today. Although much has changed with the groups path and members, Anne's mission remains true. Anne was a kind hearted, genuine, giving woman with a beautiful sense of humour. She supported each of us and could see potential in those who might not have even known it themselves. We will pride ourselves in keeping Anne's dream alive and working towards our goals and shared dreams. We will miss you Anne, we know you're now with your loved ones and all of our beloved K9 partners who have gone before us. xox - Search Dogs
