Check out some of our latest work with the YMCA The YMCA has been dedicated to strengthening the foundations of communities in Newfoundland and Labrador since 1854. The YMCA of Newfoundland and Labrador had a website that was over seven years old and was not using any type of content management system. Their site was also not responsive and so was not very usable on mobile devices, which accounted for over 56% of their traffic.... We created a new, clean, and modern website using WordPress. Their new site allows room to grow as YMCA-NL expands their operations across the province. Overall site traffic has doubled and organic search traffic is up over 200% from the same period last year while each visitor now stays three times longer than they used to. Audio-only social media has been shaping the future of social networking. In these times of social isolation and screen fatigue, there has been a great spike in popularity for audio-only social media, and social media giants like Facebook and Twitter have been quick to hop on the trend. Clubhouse, the first audio-only social platform to re-spark the trend, works like an audio chatroom. It lets users step in and out of live calls with all kinds of people- strangers, CEO’s, ...and even celebrities. Users can also create their own live calls. Despite being currently iOS exclusive and invite-only, the app has had millions of downloads and is getting a lot of attention. Facebook announced that they are working on new audio-only options for Rooms (a feature added last year that allows users to create private video chats) which would enable hosts to create public or private audio chats. Homebound customers mean many businesses have had to shift their focus to developing e-commerce channels.
