Everyone, the Newfoundland biking community has lost a fellow biker who bet the odds for 48 years. Aaron (Ace) Carey passed away yesterday. Aaron attended most ...fundraiser rides every year when he was able to ride and rode when ever he could. For a man who had the deck stacked against him for most of his life, he manager to fit alot of living into his 48 years. Aaron's funeral is going to be this Thursday in Witless Bay. We know most bikers have their bikes put away for the winter but the family has requested, weather permitting, a motorcycle escort for the hearse the day of the funeral. Please let me know if you able to play a part in fulfilling their wish. Our deepest condolences to all his family and friends. Please forward to anyone who may be interested. Bikes will meet in the Foodland parking lot at 9am Thursday morning.

A great afternoon at the Easter Seals Trunk or Treat in their parking lot on Mount Scio Road. These children could not get out in the evening so it felt great to bring the evening to them. A great turnout and hats off to those that showed up to give out the treats. The spirits were not dampened by a little snow as the reason for being there was seen in the children's reactions.

Newfound Riders made a donation on behalf of the Rice family and Newfound Riders from The Chad Rice memorial ride......this year we helped Logan Butler.( 4 months old).... his mom and dad accepted the donation. This is the 7th Chad Rice memorial ride done by Newfound Riders to raise money to help sick kids.Thank you Edwin for making this happen and doing the presentation.
