We're very excited to hear the announcement today that baseball and softball can return to competition! While this is very positive, Baseball Nova Scotia still ...needs to complete a review with Sport Nova Scotia and CCH prior to officially moving to Phase 2. These discussions will occur early next week, and we will do everything possible to expedite this process. Thank you to everyone for their patience, and for respecting the current Phase 1 rules for a few more days. A detailed message to membership will be provided early next week.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and restrictions in place, and in the interest of safety for our players and coaches, we are unable to offer house league programs for our Mosquito (ages 9-11) and Peewee (ages 12-13) divisions for the 2020 season.

Tryouts for our Bantam 'A' team will take place Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20 at 6pm. You can contact coach Kevin Avery at [email protected] with any questions.

With phase one of Baseball Nova Scotia's Return to Play being approved, and despite the status of our house leagues yet to be determined, things are looking promising for us to offer competitive rep teams for the 2020 season. With that being said, significant changes will need to be made to the tryout process for each team, as only eight players and two coaches are allowed on the field at a time. We ask that anyone interested in trying out for rep teams at the Mosquito, Peewe...e, or Bantam level contact us so coaches know how many players are looking to play competitive baseball and can organize tryouts in accordance with the proper safety standards. We ask for the following information: 1. Player's name 2. Player's age group (11U/Mosquito, 13U/Peewee, 15U/Bantam) 3. Preferred email address There is no tryout fee. Players who express their interest will be contacted by coaches with the next steps. Thank you.

Baseball Nova Scotia has approved the return to training date of June 15 for competitive teams. We expect more information to come that would determine our options regarding our house league and rep programs for the 2020 season. We will evaluate our options and make official announcements once we have all of the necessary information. We thank you for your patience.

All training for the MacGregor Kinsmen Midget AAA team in the month of April is cancelled. A further update will come at the end of the month.

The first two indoor training sessions for the MacGregor Kinsmen Midget AAA team have been cancelled. Sessions will begin on April 5th.

Here are some opportunities for indoor spring training sessions for players aged 14-18. For Bantam and Midget A players, sessions will start Monday March 9th from 6-7 pm. Sessions are $10 each.
