You probably heard about the temporary pathways for essential workers and international graduates. The programs open May 6th and the expectation is that these programs will be filled in hours/days/weeks. Many details are yet to be published. I am not able to answer the many questions individually and therefore decided to publish a series of newsletters instead. IRCC announced temporary pathways to Permanent Residency to essential workers and international graduates. Under certain conditions, essential workers who intend to reside in a province or territory other than Quebec can apply under one of these policies. The public policies will come into effect on May 6, 2021, and will end on November 5, 2021, or once the intake cap of the applicable stream has been reached, whichever comes first or when revoked. For french speaking candid...ates and international graduates, there is no gap. The public policies target workers and International graduates who have recent work experience of at least one year in the past three years in an occupation that is either on list A or on List B or has a combination of work experience. The PR application must be made online and at the time of the application, the candidate must be working in that occupation and have at least CLB 4. New travel measures

ATTENTION #COVID19 INFO ALL travellers 5 years and over, flying to Canada must provide proof of a negative laboratory LAMP or PCR test result for COVID-19... to the airline prior to boarding a flight to Canada. International students: if you have been affected by #COVID19 while in Canada and hold or held a post-graduation work permit (PGWP), you will now have the oppor...tunity to apply for another open work permit. On January 27, 2021, foreign nationals in Canada with an expired or expiring PGWP will have a one-time opportunity to apply for another open work permit with a duration of 18 months. Applications will be accepted until July 27, 2021.
