New Growth 29.09.2020

Want your orchid to rebloom? Try repotting and a root trim. They cannot breath in tightly packed moss. Try adding bark or perlite to your orchid moss to prevent compacting over time. Trimming dead or rotting roots helps the plant recover and start new growth sooner. This can usually be done when the orchid is first purchased then annually each spring. Remember that a well draining, airy pot will help prevent root rot and mold. Here is an example of why repotting is a good idea. These are some orchids as they would be purchased from a box store. All eight of these plants have some form of rotting present due to over packed moss and no air flow. Cleaned up, repotted, and ready to start New Growth!
