It was great day yesterday. Thank you for supportig our Community Centre.

The Board of Directors; Darryl (Chair), Peter (Acting Vice-Chair), John (Communications), Patricia (Treasurer), Astrid (Secretary) and Jennifer (Manager of Publicity and Marketing).

On July, 9 2015 passed away Julia Ann Berry (born Ferguson) at the age of 76 years old. Her last wish was to give this painting, made by a local artist, to the Newholm Community Heritage Centre. As soon as the centre is up and running this painting will get a prominent place in her memory and her family which have a long history in our community.

Our 4th annual fundraiser is on September 26 from 1 till 9 pm on 644 Whitehouse Road. Tickets are $10 at the gate. We have live music, good food and raffle prizes. Bring your own lawn chair and friends for a fun afternoon. See you there!

Who knows the story behind this photo?? It's called Lynx Lodge and is dated March 1930. If you have any pictures from around that time (or older) please let us know so we can post them.

The new sign is up! Our thanks goes to Roland and Patricia Lalonde who donated the sign. To Amac Signs that lettered the sign for us. And Larry French donated the post and materials to put the sign up.
