EMERGENCY RESPONSE FOR AUTISM FUNDING-PETITION LAUNCHED A change.org petition was launched shortly after todays teleconference presentation by B.C.s Ministry ...of Children and Family Development, which sorely disappointed the 16,000 parents who have children on the autism spectrum in B.C. MCFD officials dismissed their number one concern: Allow the carry over of unused funding from current funding year to the next so that children will not miss the opportunity to access/use their funding. View the petition here http://chng.it/Rv4H6hyd6P - ACTs unofficial transcript of the Question and Answer session provided by the Ministry of Children and Family Development will be available shortly at www.actcommunity.ca/covid-19-resources, in the section on Advocacy.
There will be a teleconference tomorrow- Information on services & supports for children and youth with special needs & their families during the COVID19 pandemic.
