When reading our Bibles we frequently find ourselves skimming over verses like this without stopping to think about the implications. We are often reminded in the story of Joseph that God preserved him through much hardship and raised him into a position of power, but what we may miss in these two verses is that by bringing Joseph to the position He did, God ensured that many would be fed during a famine. What we see playing out in these verses is a concept that theologians c...all Common Grace: God's grace shown throughout daily life to everyone, even those who outright reject Him. Egypt and the nations around it worshipped other gods, yet the Lord still provided a way for them to be sustained during a famine. He is so good! BRING ADVENT HOME! The advent season begins Sunday,November 29. In our online services during the 4 Sunday’s of Advent we will be lighting our Advent candles as we always do, but we want you to follow along at home. The church is making and providing a Yule log with 5 candles for anyone who wants one. The cost is just $10, and they can be picked up during office hours next Friday, November 27, and between 10:00-12:00 Saturday morning, November 28. This is a great activity to do as a family!!! Call or e-mail the office to reserve yours!!!

Would people even give now that we can’t be gathering?, we thought. The answer was a resounding YES! Well over 200 boxes means that many underprivileged kids around the world will experience the love of God for them this Christmas. Way to go CHURCH!
