Single kids have it bad too. If you have a business or you work from home or you are an essential worker. It's all hard. Stop saying it's harder for you because... Don't compare business owners, we're all doing our best for us. Some have pivoted amazingly well others just can't. We all post to be kind but then forget to check ourselves. Good Morning please read over our list of protocols and safety measures that are now in effect! On the day of your appointment - if you are experiencing any illness symptoms (cough, fever, sore throat, etc) we ask that you reschedule your appointment. Any guests showing symptoms will be asked to leave immediately. Melissa, Sam & Myself are only allowed one client in the salon at a time. This means you must come to your appointment alone. No children, friends etc.... If you arrive early for your appointment, please wait in your car until your scheduled time! Appointments are booked accordingly to avoid any chaos. In saying that, please please do not be late! Please leave all non essential items in your car. Purses & coats must be kept with you on your lap during your appointment. Food and beverages are not permitted nor will our coffee station be open. Guests are required to wear a mask. Please bring your own mask. I have received some messages on this topic - you are permitted to wear one, in saying that please use your own judgment and do what you feel is safest for you. We ask you arrive to your colour appointment with clean dry hair. When entering and exiting the salon please use the sanitizer placed at the door. During your appointment please stay seated in the chair unless instructed otherwise. If you do not have an appointment but are in need of retail product, please send me a message and I will arrange a time with you to pick up. Please note, cleaning of chairs, stations, etc will take place after each client. Please be patient with us! On behalf of Melissa, Sam & Myself we cant wait to pick up where we left off and have no doubt in having a smooth transition. Grey Bruce Medical Officer of Health, Doctor Ian Arra, is giving notice of intent to Order the mandatory wearing of face coverings in enclosed public places. Th...e Order will be issued and coming into effect within the next 10 days as per consultation with stakeholders. Public Health has been in ongoing discussion with stakeholders in respect to the details and language of the Order. This will ensure the Order is appropriate and proportionate to the local needs and that it can be implemented in a manner that is practical, equitable, and does not infringe on the rights of people who cannot tolerate facial covering due to medical conditions. Accumulating epidemiological evidence indicates that the widespread use of Face Coverings in public decreases spread of respiratory droplets, and expert opinion supports the widespread use of face coverings to decrease transmission of COVID-19. Wearing of face coverings in enclosed public spaces further reduces the risk of transmission of COVID-19. says Grey Bruce Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Ian Arra. It is of critical importance that the use of face coverings does not become a replacement to the current effective practices of physical distancing, handwashing, screening for symptoms among others.
