We hope you had a fantastic Easter!! It was a busy one here for us! I’m taking the day to relax and make plans for the coming weeks! With an early spring that means we can get our butts in gear almost a full month earlier than last year! Whoop whooop!! Talk soon my lovelies!!

We’re having a barn club night tonight (Wednesday) from 4-7 for $25 I forgot to post earlier this week! We will be shedding out all of these hairy horses!! So bring allergy medicine if you think you’ll need it!!

Reminder that on behalf of the questionable weather predictions for today, we will be having a barn day hanging out in our new clubhouse and spending some time inside with the horses! We will ride if the weather stays clear there’s a couple more spots available if anyone wants to join 2-6 , $35

Horse club days available 4-7 every night this week! It’s $40 per person! We do a mix of riding, training, barn work and little jobs on the side that are crucial for having horses and other farm animals! the agenda for the evening is usually decided on how the weather is, we try to stay outside as much as we can but in damp weather we stic to the barn! Let me know what night you’d like to come, new students will be considered is all spots aren’t filled up

*** After school club!! *** ( I would like to see kids commit to the same night, weekly. It’s $40 a night, from 4-7.) *** Currently NOT taking new students. **** This club is for kids who have been here over the summer. I will let everyone know when I have more spots available. PLEASE read whole post before sending a message ... After school club is for the kids who want to really commit to the farm life! We will be riding as much as possible (weather permitting) but we will also be doing barn chores and jobs around the barn which are crucial for things to flow smoothly! I currently have 25 spaces available (5 kids per night, from 4-7. If all 25 spots are not filled I will offer the extra spaces for kids who want to come more than once a week. I would like to see kids commit to the same night every week. Price is 40 a night. Parents with multiple kids I am willing to make a deal on prices. This club will continue for the whole school year! I prefer to have kids in the same age group come on the same nights, so let me know what days you would be available and I will fit the kids into a good group for them and make a schedule! We will stick to a weekly time from 4-7, if you’re going to be late that is fine by me! Let me know your situation and we can make a plan. We will also be having a lunch/snack break, I will make some changes in the barn to accommodate for this (microwave, fridge, table and chairs) Let me know if you’d like a place and I will add you to the private Facebook group for the club! It was a big day for us yesterday! KC (blue) and Cody (red) got their first set of shoes on! It was also their first time in a trailer, and their first time away from home! A big feat for horses 19 and 20 years old! I’m glad to report they were on their best behaviour as far as the traveling went! I was impressed with their traveling skills however when it came down to the shoeing their attitudes changed pretty quick One of these guys acted pretty good, and the other acted pretty crazy can you guess who was good and who was bad just from these pictures? These guys are officially ready to get to work, lots of surprises ahead!! more updates coming soon!

I have a couple lesson times available for today and a couple for tomorrow, send me a message and I’ll get you squeezed in! I’m still not prepared for trail rides, and I’m also not ready to take on any new students. Hopefully soon! You will definitely hear from me when I am! Our big boys, KC and Cody are heading on a road trip Sunday to get shoes on! Time to come out of retirement I would love to have a barn night Saturday evening and get these big boys all prettied up ...for their trip! Let me know if you’d like to come! Maybe we would have 2-3 hour lesson/grooming night depending on who would like to come Heavy hearts is a understatement this week as we mourn the three sweet boys who lost their lives in Blackville this past weekend. ****Group ride tomorrow, Sunday September 13th 3-6, $30 per person!! *** Hey there! Long time no see I hope everyone enjoyed their first couple days back to school! I’ve been crazyyy busy lately and have had a hard time finding a balance with my new normal after some sudden changes in my personal life plus I’ve been trying to get in the groove of my new 3:45am wake up calls ... While I have been feeling maaajor stress lately, there’s nothing that makes me happier than some horsie time!! Especially with all you folks So I would like to have another group ride tomorrow from 3-6! Price is $30 per person, all returning students welcome I’m working on the idea of a weekly after school program! It will be a more structured riding lesson plan, but Makayla style I will have 25 spaces available (5 people per night) I’m hoping there’s a possibility that students can get off the bus here (I will have to find out more about regulations) I am also hoping to keep up this program threw the winter months! Don’t worry, I’ve got a plan to keep us out of the cold If this is something that interests you, please let me know! I will be creating the new group and working out the details hopefully sometime this week I am so blessed to have the love and support from you all I swear some days this is all that keeps me going. September is here already! Kids are finally headed off to school again after the longest March break EVER September is also a time where we really kick our butts in gear! There’s a lot of preparation that comes with keeping horses and other livestock over the winter months, especially if you’re planning on riding year round! Is there any better way to spend the long weekend than on a wagon train? I don’t think so! What a fantastic weekend I had on my little vacation! Two days and two nights camping with the horses! What an exciting view! There will be no lessons/riding time’s available this week, as I’m taking this time to get some maintenance done! I’ll be in touch later today with a more detailed update Me and Rebel took some water and a snack back to my hard working father yesterday afternoon, we are so thankful for him and everything he does to make these BIG dreams happen!! ... #bigthingsarecoming !!!!

We had 12 people show up for the group ride last night!! It went pretty awesome for 12 people sharing 5 horses! We did get cut short at the end when the rain started to pick up, but other than that I think it went pretty good for the first big group I’ll be making some adjustments for the next time, seeing how fantastic last night went! ...
