Newmarket Islamic Centre is sending Ramadhan greetings to everyone. May this holy month brings barakah, and Allah's boundless mercy upon the believers and harmony and tolerance for the world. Please review the following information in preparation to the holy month of Ramadhan. 1. Newmarket Islamic Centre has already announced that we are following Global Moon Sighting to start the holy month of Ramadhan.... 2. NIC will offer 20 rakat of Taraveeh - imam NIC will lead Taraveeh Prayer. Imam will lead first 8 rakat and rest our local qari will lead. 3. First Friday in Ramadhan is booked at Newmarket Community Cente. It is a potluck iftar dinner. Please bring your favourite dish to share. 4. July 2nd is also booked at Newmarket Community Centre for potluck iftar dinner. We are planning to have Khatmul Quran night and our grand fund raising event at the same night. 5. Please use car pooling on Fridays and for Taraveeh prayers as we have limited parking space. 6. Masjid Garage is fully renovated and we could use it for daily/weekly iftar if needed. 7. Please keep noise level down in the parking lot and respect noise by law of town of Newmarket. We would like to thank you all for your cooperation. JazakAllahuKhair!
