We are still planning on holding our antiques and collectibles yard sale tomorrow, Saturday 10 October, from 8am to 3.30pm. It may be a little windy but it's forecast to be a lot warmer than today!

We will be holding a Thanksgiving Weekend Antiques & Collectibles Yard Sale on 10th October (weather permitting), from 8am till 3.30pm, at 1408 Belcher Street, ...Port Williams. There will be wide range of vintage and antique items for sale including bottles, oil cans, vinyl records, produce boxes, trunks and lots and lots of other rummagable things. This antique, wood fra...med mirror is simple and yet stunning at the same time. It is a lovely warm colour with carved details, some inlay and a little wrought iron work as well. It is in original condition including the wooden pegs and the more ornate metal hooks. There is some foxing of the mirror glass. The piece measures: 45" high x 28.5" wide x 7.5" deep. Asking $35. ***SOLD*** Cats aren't the only things that can have many lives! This unique, oak armoire is possibly French. The main body probably dates from the mid-1800s b...ut the chamfered carving on the door interior indicates that the door itself is a lot older. In my life it has been a wardrobe, a bookcase and a TV cupboard. Who knows what adventures await it in the hands of a new owner? The armoire measures 72" high x 45" wide x 24" deep. This elegant dining table probably dates from the 1920s. It is made of rosewood and has elegant proportions and lovely, simple chinoiserie details on the corner...s. There are two additional leaves that can easily be added for those special occasions. It is in overall good condition although there are some minor scratches to a couple of the legs. ***SOLD*** This antique, pine, school cupboard is in great condition. It has had a number of roles over it's lifetime - including wardrobe, storage cupboard and... shelved cupboard. Each has left its mark but this does not detract from the charm and presence of this piece. The distressed paint adds to its charm.
