A reminder that our annual meeting will take place next Monday, April 19th at the St Agnes Parish Centre. On behalf of our staff we would like to wish our members a Hoppy Easter! Our branch will be closed Friday, April 2nd for Good Friday. We will reopen on Monday, April 5th at 9:30 am.

Shelley MacLellan was in branch to accept donation on behalf of our staff and board of directors. A reminder that our annual meeting will take place tonight, Wednesday November 4th, at the St Agnes Parish Centre. All members are encouraged to attend and vote. Face masks will be required upon entry.

Our Credit Union is a proud supporter of our local volunteer fire departments. This month we had representatives of the fire departments in branch to accept donations of $2,000 each. We would like to thank the New Waterford Volunteer Fire Department, The Scotchtown Volunteer Fire Department and New Victoria Volunteer Fire Department for everything they do in our community.

Our Credit Union continues to be a proud supporter of the Greenfield Elementary breakfast program even through these difficult times. On October 9th we had Greenfield Elemetary principal, Melanie Dolan, and CBVRCE dietician Debbie Madore in our branch to accept the donation presented by staff members Florence Roach and Lorraine MacDonald.

In branch services have been restored. We will be open for our regular reduced until 3:00 today.

Due to technical difficulties we will be delaying our in branch opening today, Wednesday August 5th, until further notice. ATM and online services are still available for full use. We apologize for the inconvenience, we will notify members when these services are restored.

This past week our Credit Union made donations in the community. Donations were made to both the New Waterford Tennis Club and the New Waterford Dog Park. Accepting the donation on behalf of the New Waterford Tennis Club is instructor, Karlie MacNeil, and members from their junior program. Accepting the donation on behalf of the New Waterford Dog Park is secretary of the society, Joey Lever.

From June 15th until June 28th Atlantic Credit Unions took part in the #Loyal2Local initiative. This initiative had Credit Union employees support local small businesses that were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The New Waterford Credit Union staff made contributions at the following lcoations, Alma's Family Hair Salon Tanning and Esthetics Big Daddy's Pizza The Bayside... Flavor Cape Breton Dale's Hairdressing Mickey D's SUBS & STUFF Cecilia’s Hair Fatboys Pizza - New Waterford @The Puppy Palace We thank these businesses for their hard work and contribution in our community.

In recognition of Davis Day our branch will be closed on Thursday, June 11th. We will reopen on Friday, June 12th for our reduced hours of operation of 9:30 - 3:00.

A reminder that Monday, June 15th is the deadline for 2020 graduates to apply for our scholarship. Applications can be found on our website and in our branch.

New Waterford Credit Unions' annual scholarship is now available. 2020 graduates can submit an application from now until the deadline on June 15th. Applications are available on our website at www.nwcu.net or in branch. Completed applications can be sent electronically to [email protected] or dropped off in branch.
