New Wings Bird Rescue and Sanctuary

With the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic having effected nearly every person on the planet, changing lives, forever, we at New Wings Bird Rescue continue to strive to provide the birds trusted into our care with the very best care we are humanly enabled to on a daily bases. With so much insecurity in the future we have been forced to take along look at our lives and what we as a Rescue can offer the birds we care so deeply for. We are now faced with the reality that our Veterinarian C...are Fund at Bowmanville Veterinary Clinic is in immediate need of funds. Due to several birds requiring Vet care during the past months we have depleted our account and urgently need to build up a positive balance for the days and months ahead of us. The challenge looks impossible but we know that with God nothing is impossible to those who believe and trust in Him. As we post our fundraiser we do so having faith that God will provide the birds with this necessary need being met. Remember every single dollar helps us reach our goal. Please meet Charlie a beautiful 30 year old male Red-lored Amazon up for adoption in Mississauga, Ontario. Charlie has had one home for all his life and has been well cared for, fed a good diet, seen his vet ( LAST CHECK UP WAS 2 months ago) but due to a busy life style has not received as much socializing as he should have. He does NOT talk but has a wonderful array of sound effects and whistles he loves to share. Charlie is not hand tamed, but with time and patience MAY ...become tamer, but he does love attention, scritches and being a part of everything going on in the home.. Due to no fault of his own Charlie is now looking for a new forever home that will continue to provide him with the care he has had all his life. Charlie will have an adoption-rehoming fee, comes with his cage, food etc and there will be a written contract of adoption. -prospective adopters must be willing to provide photos/video of set up where Charlie will be living, and where he will have his free-time.
