They have been taught to distinguish sounds, make physical contact with their handlers and lead them to whatever is making the noise; be it someone at the door, an alarm clock, or a ringing telephone.

Did you know one of the best things you can do with used hearing aids is donate them? Partnering with the Hear4U foundation and Lions HARP program NexGen Hearing Clinicians provide hearing care to those who might otherwise not experience the gift of hearing. Our clinicians clean the donated hearing aids, check to make sure they work, replace the parts that sit in the ear with new ones and fit them onto recipients. You can participate by donating your used and functioning hearing aid at a clinic near you. https://www.nexgenhearing.com/locations/
