We are so excited to announce our 2022 online junior and senior tryouts. We are looking forward with lots of excitement for the 2022 season. This current season has looked very different but we can’t wait for what the future has in store for us. We are so excited to hear from you.

Just like that, another year has passed. We are so thankful to everyone who has helped make this year possible. Here is a little message from us to start off the new year!

2020-2021 Free Program! We are so excited to announce that we are bringing back our creative yet elegant free program Garden Statues. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 and the safety of all skaters we were unable to perform our program at the World Championships in Lake Placid. We feel that our free program never reached its fullest potential last year and we are so excited to continue to explore our statues concept. ... This season we will also be developing a new short program! Stay tuned!

BACK TO BASICS! Can you Figure out what we’ve been doing? It Figures that we’d keep it a secret, but I think we can Figure this out together. Have you guessed yet? Well to answer your question we’ve been doing Figures! Going back to the basics to help improve our balance on the ice and increase our skating knowledge. For many of us Figures are a new and challenging skill but we can’t wait to continue practicing them. Happy National Coaches Week to our amazing coaches Shelley, Anne, Jennifer, and Danyel! Thank you for always inspiring us and pushing us to be the best team and skaters that we can be. We are so grateful for everything you do for us! As well, a big shout out to our off ice trainers who have been supporting us through zoom classes during these unusual times.

Training has definitely looked very different this year. Due to Covid-19 restrictions we have been unable to hold on and train like normal. Giving us the opportunity to focus more on our individual skating and strengths. Coming up with new exercises and ways to help us form unison, cause even though we can’t touch we are still connected. Thank you to the amazing rink staff at Central Arena for keeping us safe and giving us a place to train. We are happy to announce that we will finally be returning home to the Appleby Ice Centre to start our fall training!

Today would have marked the start of our 8th annual Nexxice Skills Camp. That unfortunately due to COVID-19 we had to cancel . We would like to thank everyone who registered as well as our amazing volunteers who help us run the event smoothly. We look forward to being able to see you all again soon. We also want to announce the official skills camp dates for the 2021 season The Nexxice International Skills Camp 2021 will be held July 9th - 11th next summer. More information will be posted on our website soon!

Happy Canada Day!! Today we get to look back at all the amazing experiences we have had representing Canada internationally. that we can soon continue to do so in the future. Although our celebrations may look a little different this year we still hope that everyone has a happy and healthy day celebrating.

Happy Father’s Day to our amazing Nexxice Dads! We are so thankful for everything you do and all the support you give to us.

Wishing the biggest of congratulations to Fran McLellan on receiving the Elizabeth Swan Memorial Award. We can’t thank you enough for all the amazing work you have done for the synchronized skating community and our team. We can’t think of anyone more deserving of this award. Thank you.

Unfortunately due to the uncertainty surrounding the Covid 19 pandemic, we regrettably cancel the 2020 NEXXICE International Camp which was scheduled for July 10 - 12, 2020. We hope everyone is staying safe and in good health. We are all doing our part and staying home to end COVID-19 and get back on to the ice . We look forward to seeing everyone in July 2021.
