COVID-19 UPDATE - 28 May 2020 We are still not able to make appointments because the government of Ontario has not yet deemed regular dental visits to be essential. However, we have received guidelines from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario outlining the protocols required when we eventually schedule appointments. ... We will be required to follow specific social distancing, infection control and office procedures to ensure patient and staff safety. Once we have a firm date to open we will begin contacting patients to re-schedule appointments. Please continue to follow our Facebook page for updates on scheduling, timing and protocols.

Hey everyone we hope all of our patients and families are staying safe and healthy. We miss you all. Just an update we still have no indication as to of when we will be re-opening but in the meantime there are a few tips that we can recommend while you are in treatment during isolation. These are: -Maintaining excellent oral hygiene including brushing after every meal and flossing at least once a day every day - Following your foods list, staying away from hard, crunchy and... sticky foods especially -Consider using a fluoride daily - If you are wearing a retainer continue wearing your retainer full time or night time whichever we instructed you to do at your last appointment. -If you have lost a bracket save the bracket in a safe spot to bring with you to your next appointment. Happy Earth Day We thought why not have some fun and try and spread some smiles during this difficult time! In the comments below we want you to share a picture of one of your favourite places on earth that you have been or inspires you!

We have some disappointing news to report. We had left two packages taped to the outside of our office door for our patients as we are practicing our social distancing and unfortunately someone else decided to destroy the one package and leave the trash behind and took the other one. This package would not be useful to anyone else other than the patient as it is directed to that patients treatment specifically. We are asking the person to please return this package to the front of our office. This package was in a yellow envelope with a patients name on it if anyone finds it. Please share and please remember in a world where it feels like everything is falling apart BE KIND!

This Easter is going to be very different for all of us but please remember social distancing is very crucial right now! COVID -19 update For the safety of our patients and staff, we will be following the recommendations of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. We can no longer see patients for routine appointments until further notice. With respect to emergencies, until we are given the green light to re-open, we are limited in what we can do. Our governing body, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, defines a true emergency as the following: oral-facial trauma, signi...ficant infection, prolonged bleeding or pain which cannot be managed by over-the-counter medications. If you feel that you have an emergency that cannot wait until the office re-opens, you may contact Dr.Ng’s pager at 1-888-387-7222 and someone will return your call or leave us a Facebook message. Please continue to follow us in Facebook for recent updates. Once we return back in office we will contact you to reschedule missed appointments. Thank you for your understanding in this matter and please stay safe. Just a reminder if you are needing supplies they can be found at any drugstore. If you are needing elastics you may stop your elastics until we are back in office. All aligner patients please continue to wear your last aligner you were given.

Just a quick reminder that while the office remains closed you can get orthodontic essentials such as wax, super floss, and proxabrush at most pharmacies.
