I highly recommend giving this Doctor ( @the.holistic.psychologist ) a follow. She is insightful, educational, and genuine. I have been following her for over a year now, and thanks to her, I’ve realized a lot of wounds I probably wouldn’t ever have, otherwise. Never stop growing, and never give up
Throwback Tuesday to the 30 bags we were fortunate enough to fill for the homeless, with donations from so many people and companies this past December. Each bag also contained a $10 Tim Hortons GC which was donated by the Tim Hortons just off whyte Ave and 75 st. Safeway matched our donation price for the blankets. A good friend of mine donated all the toothbrushes and toothpastes. And all of my co-workers who raised money to make this possible. Thank you to everyone who supported this cause and made a difference. NGU Threads also donated 1 tshirt to each bag, as well as 40+ shirts to the @boylestreetcommunityservices

#BellLetsTalk Day is today. As I’m sure all of you who follow us know that mental health is something that can affect anyone at anytime. Using the hashtag of #bellletstalk, sharing one of their posts, changing your profile pic, or even using their Snapchat filter, will make a difference with them donating 5 cents per post/hashtag/like etc. I just want to stress that taking 5 seconds to do this will make a huge difference, but also taking 5 seconds to talk to someone could als...o make a huge difference in someone’s life. Remember that it’s ok to not be ok all the time, and that everyone has their days. Support is what got me (personally) thru all of my darkest days, and I hope someone reading this can reach out to someone they know who is going thru a hard time, and be there for him/her. There is a need for more support services, crisis operations etc in the Edmonton area alone, and that’s why it’s so important to start somewhere and that’s with supporting and being kind to those around us. #bellletstalk #mentalhealthyeg #mentalhealthawareness #endthestigma #yeglocal #nevergiveupyeg See more

If you don’t take care of yourself, then who will? Love yourself, then love will surround you #nevergiveupyeg #mentalhealthyeg #supportlocalyeg
In honour of today (and everyday for the matter), I hope every single one of you find things/time for yourself. If you’re struggling, it’s ok. It’s also ok to ask for help, talk to a friend, or stay in bed all day cause that’s what you need to feel better. I hope when you are struggling, that you have found a healthy way to cope and to grow. Take care of yourselves #nevergiveupyeg #mentalhealthyeg #supportlocalyeg #yeg
