Since covid hit, our kids class structure has changed a lot... Our coaching staff has been getting creative in making these classes safe, fun and exciting while keeping these kids fit, strong and healthy (physically & mentally) while learning strong fundamentals with ZERO contact. This whole month was a christmas theme, from chopping down christmas trees with kicks, decorating them with punches. Protecting christmas from the grinch with Grappling techniques ... even santa s...howed up to teach some new moves spinning attacks Martial Arts has always been our outlet to life and we love being able to pass our biggest passion on to the next generation!! What A Night! First up was Alex Moher. Alex put on a clinic in domination. He was able to secure multiple take downs and keep heavy pressure. There were some beautiful transitions as his opponent made attempts to get back to the feet and was able to land some huge ground and pound. It also appears Alex has decided to bring the highlight reel slams back to mma. It was no surprise Alex took the Unanimous Decision. Next up, Cody Chovancek. First round was pretty evenly matched,... was shaping up to be an awesome fight. Cody suffered an unfortunate eye poke which caused a brief break in action early in the second round. After the doc checked the eye and Cody saying he was ready to go action resumed. It wasn't too long after that Cody landed a devastating punch that rendered his opponent unconscious. Cody takes the win by second round KO. Last and certainly not least was Nayimi Ferdaws. This was his MMA debut after a very accomplished run in the kick boxing world. Very early in the first he was tagged by a wild bomb, he was able to regain his composure very quickly and got back to work. Avoiding huge punches and stuffing a take down attempt, Ferdaws went on the attack landing a massive left sitting his opponent down securing a first round KO! - Brian Appel

Jeffery keeps rolling with TKO in Kansas By Darryl G. Smart The Arron Jeffery train is rolling fast and hard. Jeffery, the 27-year-old mixed martial artist, fro...m Tillsonburg, stretched his professional winning streak to three on October 16, in Wichita, Kans. The striker that trains out of Modern Vision MMA in Niagara, needed less. Than two rounds to dispose of Andre Petroski in the main event at LFC 93 (Legacy Fighting Alliance). Successful business trip, Jeffery said after the fight on his social media. Thanks so much for the support. It means a lot. In the middleweight title eliminator, both fighters threw the leather early and often. Jeffery showed a ton of composure in this fight. After two of three judges gave Petroski the opening round, Jeffery didn’t let that faze him. In the second round he had his opponent pinned to the cage, and used a vicious elbow and knee combination to finish him off for the TKO at the 4:19 mark. This successful LFA debut improves Jeffery’s pro MMA record to 9-2. It is also his second fight during the COVID-19 pandemic. I’m just happy to be active, Jeffery told mymmanews.com. I wrote down a list of things I wanted to do and one thing was three fights in 2020. I didn’t get one until August, but now we are at two wins, so we’re going to try and make it a third. Though Jeffery doesn’t know what lies ahead, or who he will face, he still has his eye on the prize, a UFC contract. It’s probably the LFA title shot or the UFC, Jeffery said of what’s next. My manager is the one. He thinks this could be the one that gets me into the UFC. I’m hearing Kyle Stewart a lot, he said. I’m sure UFC eyes are on him if they signed him before. He’s a guy they would think about signing again, so yeah, I think that is the perfect type of guy for me to fight. Regardless of who, when, or where he fights next, Jeffery has the same mindset. I’ve been saying that a couple fights here in a row, but I think the next one has got to be the one if it wasn’t this one, Jeffery said. Niagara Top Team is at it again. This time in Wichita, Kansas for LFA. Aaron Jeffery is making a quick turn around and picked up yet another main event. He is coming off a huge 3rd round victory and is headed to LFA on a two fight win streak, both of which were tko. As said previously, Aaron defines what it means to be a pro athlete. Staying ready, putting in countless hours on the mats and winning in huge fashion, the sky is the limit for this middleweight. Teshay Gouthro g...ot himself a late notice fight on the very same card. Teshay was on a tear before covid hit and although hasn't yet fought in 2020 he has remained busy. He secured himself a strength and conditioning coach and stayed on the training grind. He enters the LFA cage with a 3-0 record,1 being a tko and 1 doctor stoppage. Stepping into the LFA cage will show the world what we already know, Teshay is a huge problem for the bantamweight division. Chris Prickett and Lyndon Whitlock. These two individuals make sacrifices for their athletes not many would. From the countless Covid tests to hours upon hours of time spent in hotel rooms quarantined, time spent away from there family as well as the 14 day quarantine when they return home. Yet when an athlete of theirs has an opportunity to get back into the cage the question never has to be asked if they will be in the corner.
