During the meeting of the Committee Of The Whole on June 15th, Councillor Norm Arsenault mistakenly used the term "eScooter" when he was referring to an electric "kick-scooter" (which are illegal for street use). We received messages from clients and friends first thing this morning, who were concerned that all of a sudden our business was illegal! Jennifer immediately sent an email to Councillor Arsenault (who responded very quickly) and she copied the rest of Council pointing out the ambiguity of these terms. We are posting this, to hopefully clarify the terminology for anyone who may have been confused by this. The picture on the top is the illegal (for street use) "kick scooter" and the picture on the bottom is the legal eScooter we have have been renting for over 10 years!

Just recently we have been receiving a number of enquiries and reservations to rent eScooters and eBikes. Even though, technically, we are deemed to be an essential service because we rent vehicles we know that this is not the spirit of the legislation, so we have chosen to be closed. We have, and will continue to sell and service eBikes, under strict distancing protocol. To confuse things even further, our local municipal government is sending out mixed signals by wanting you to come and buy our great Niagara Wine but on the other hand, is discouraging you from touring the area. So, for now please bear with us as we try and do our part to flatten the curve.
