Sayonara, 2020! You took us by surprise, challenged us in ways which we thought were never possible and honestly, didn’t think we’d overcome, but we made it through! We now welcome 2021 with open arms, we know it will continue with more challenges and push us to the limits, but anything is going to be better than this past year! Thank you to everyone who got us through to this point, we couldn’t have done it without you and we will continue to need your support to make it th...rough this Covid-19 storm. Just a reminder our Bottle Drive for the club is coming up on Saturday, January 16th, 2021 from 10am to 2pm. All proceeds are to benefit the club and pay the bills while we are closed. Any additional funds are a bonus, and will be applied to the debt we have incurred to stay alive. Thank you again and we hope to open sooner than later, see those familiar faces again, and hopefully see some faces we haven’t seen in almost year! Stay safe and stay healthy. Here’s to 2021!
Here we go again... We will now be closed till at least Saturday, January 23rd, 2020. Fundraising efforts will be shared soon. Note: Save your empties for Saturday, January 16th, 2020.
Once again we are temporarily closing our doors this year due to Covid-19... Team sports are not allowed and we can only have a maximum capacity of 10 people in the building. So there will be no badminton, table tennis or volleyball from at least Monday, December 21st to Monday, January 4th. If this is extended, or we are put into lockdown, we will inform you as soon as we know. ... Badminton membership holders, your memberships will be extended for the amount of time we are closed. Table Tennis players, your cards will be valid until you have no more passes available. Volleyball teams, you have paid only half of the league fee. So, the remaining amount will be put towards the second half of the league. We will figure out the totals for Monday and Wednesday leagues as soon as possible. If you have any questions feel free to inbox us. I will be emailing everyone today to reiterate this information. C’monnn 2021! -Brittany :)

When the going gets more tough... On Saturday, November 14th, 2020 at 12:01am we will have new orders in place until Jan. 1 at 11:59 p.m. Specifically the following...... "Attestation that the patron is joining a table with only household members, and / or a maximum of two persons who are essential to maintaining physical and mental health, such as caregivers or social supports to someone who lives alone." We just talked with the Niagara Region for clarification of what this all exactly means: -You CANNOT sit at the same table if you do not live in the same household. -IF you live alone you may join one other household/table. -Your friends do not count as essential to maintaining physical and mental health. Those that would count include a caregiver or social support. We will update you tomorrow what this looks like for the club as we deal with another wrench thrown into our already extremely tough year. https://www.niagararegion.ca//covid-/reopen/section22.aspx
