I'm sad to announce that Ernie Adams passed away today in St. Catharines. Ernie was the youngest of the five Adams brothers to serve with the Lincoln and Wellan...d Regiment during WWII. Two of his older brothers were killed in action. Bill was killed in Normandy, France and Allan in Maldegem, Belgium. Ernie was very active in his community and in the Merritton Legion Branch 138. He will be missed. See more

The Lincoln and Welland Regiment Association Band had the honour of participating in the 100th birthday celebration for Chuck Page. Chuck has been raising money... for the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital by walking 100 laps around the complex by his 100th birthday. He exceeded both 100 laps and his fundraising goal of five $5000, by raising $20,741.00 so far! But, let's raise that!
