Yesterday was the Celebrity Cup Tournament fundraiser for Shaver hospital. The Niagara-on-the-Lake Kinsmen were asked to be volunteers for the day. They had to set up, assist, and tidy up for each team they were assigned to. Ray was with the St. Catharine Saints and Rick Vaive #22 for the Maple Leafs was on that team. They let the guys on the bench with them during the game and they even referred to Ray as coach. I went for the last game against the Hamilton team and their celebrity was Paul Coffey. It was a day of fun and laughs for all the guys. Rick Vaive signed a Leafs jersey for him and I know the Kinsmen will do it again next year.
