With COVID-19 cases surging again in Niagara, there was no way to host the Port Colborne Community Christmas Dinner the way it has been done for the past 24 years. But rather than throw in the towel for the big dinner, which brought more than 200 people together for all the Christmas dinner fixings last year at Port Colborne High School, the idea came to event organizer Gloria Simon to move the entire thing to people’s homes and deliver piping hot, fresh Christmas dinner right to people’s front doors.
