Ready for change in Saskatchewan!
This weekend Nial spent his time on the doorsteps of Regina-Qu'Appelle, joined over 70 NDP volunteers for a day of canvassing, made friends with dogs, put up signs, and spent an evening with the good folks at Little Black Bear First Nation. The Conservatives will tell you they're working in the riding, but all Andrew Scheer posted this weekend were Conservative talking points. Nial is working hard in the community, he's working hard with First Nations, he will work hard for you in the riding, and he will work hard for you in Ottawa. Make your vote count! Support Nial and the New Democrats in Regina-Qu'Appelle!

Regina's NDP candidates Erin Weir, April Bourgeois NDP, and Nial were hitting the doorsteps today with dozens of volunteers. It was a great day for canvassing because of the nice weather, but also because change is in the air.
NDP canvassers were out today working for change in Regina. The NDP Candidates will be working hard for you in Ottawa after the election! Help us defeat Harper's politics of fear and make history this election!

We put up a new billboard by the stadium and the Riders finally win. Coincidence? I think not. Now, let’s tackle Harper!
The youth vote and the First Nations vote have unprecedented power to make change in this election. If you don't like the direction this country to going, it is vital that you vote.
Sneaking in this #tbt just under the wire: Conservative Speaker of the House Andrew Scheer's role questioned after not holding fellow Conservative Paul Calandra to account and punishing Leader of the Opposition Tom Mulcair for pointing out his bias! http://o.canada.com//den-tandt-speaker-scheer-assert-yours
Nial visited Seven Stones School in North Central Regina today, to talk to the class about the federal election and being a candidate. Thanks to Alison Kimbley for the invitation!
"NDP leader has now become the main challenger to Harper’s crown. - What they're saying about Tom's win at The Globe and Mail economic debate:
While Harper continues to lie and devalue Indigenous people, Tom Mulcair and the NDP promise an inquiry into missing and murdered Indigenous women within 100 day of forming government. http://www.huffingtonpost.ca//harper-missing-murdered-indi
Stop in and say hi tomorrow as we move our campaign into high gear!
When Stephen Lewis surveys today's political scene, he says he runs the emotional gamut from rage to rage. This is the voice of many other Canadians who are feeling the same way about the Harper legacy.
The Globe and Mail reported that the federal government would not allow them to speak with climate change researchers from Environment Canada. Canadians need a more open government, not more Conservative closed-mindedness. http://www.nytimes.com//the-closing-of-the-canadian-mind.h
With all the controversy around Stephen Harper's campaign stops, it's good to see Tom Mulcair and the NDP showing it doesn't have to be this way. It's definitely time for a change.
Harper won't even advertise his campaign stops. Canadians should have the right to access their Prime Minister at public events! http://ipolitics.ca//participants-at-conservative-events-/
Your Regina federal NDP candidates are having a Day of Action on Saturday, August 8! Join us for some canvassing so we can put Stephen Harper out of a job! http://www.ndp.ca/event-rsvp/4jvjk
NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair hits Stephen Harper hard on his poor economic record in last night's Maclean's Debate. Proud to be part of the NDP team in this election. We can't afford four more years of Stephen Harper's Conservatives!
Former head of Elections Canada says Stephen Harper is unfairly gaming the system with the early election call. http://www.cbc.ca//stephen-harper-gaming-the-system-with-e
An NDP government will repeal Stephen Harper's anti-Canadian spy bill that the Conservatives rammed through parliament and the senate. Stephen Harper Finally does some good work for Canadians by exposing the myth that Conservatives are good stewards of the economy. It is time for a change in Ottawa! http://www.pressprogress.ca/6_charts_show_stephen_harper_ha
The Conservatives failed to respect the democratic right of farmers to decide the future of their own marketing agency and now the Canadian Wheat Board is gone. Remember that on October 19th!
Nial and Regina-Lewvan candidate Erin Weir are sharing a billboard by Regina's new stadium. Only Tom Mulcair and the New Democrats can tackle Harper's Conservatives!

Don’t let them tell you it can’t be done.
The Harper Conservatives have been failing western farmers for years, and now have chosen to support the rail companies over the people who put food on your table. My letter in the Leader-Post: http://www.leaderpost.com//Farmers+neg/10960036/story.html
If you want ice-cold Camembert with broken crackers, have it. This is a statement from Conservative Senator Nancy Ruth on why she expensed a breakfast instead of eating the free meal on her flight. Apparently this is not food befitting someone of her station. This is the same person who said she wanted to shoot the geese on her property and that the poor should eat them.... The Senate costs Canadians over $90 million per year, and that's not including their entitlements and expense scandals. Prime Minister Harper has done nothing to stop their free ride. Canadians are tired of governments that think only about themselves. It's time to Roll Up The Red Carpet. http://rolluptheredcarpet.ca/
It was a pleasure to attend the 16th Annual Spring Free from Racism Celebration in Regina today. What a wonderful celebration of the diversity of our community. Congratulations to Barb Dedi and the Spring Free from Racism Committee for organizing another amazing and very successful event.
The Parliamentary Budget Officer confirmed today that the majority of Canadian families will see little benefit from Stephen Harper’s income-splitting plan. Stephen Harper only wants to see benefits going to high-income earners. We need a government that puts the priorities of working Canadian families first. http://www.thestar.com//few-families-benefit-from-income-s
Join me and Tom Mulcair in demanding a budget from Stephen Harper that supports the middle class, not ignores them. http://www.ndp.ca/budget-that-works
This is shameful. Tell Stephen Harper we don't have to choose between our security and our rights. http://www.ndp.ca/c-51?source=20150216_C51AYN_TWSHARE_TW1
