Congratulations to the Sunshine Coast Restorative Justice Program and members for receiving grant funding that allows them to continue their valuable work on the Sunshine Coast, on both of the traditional territories of the shishalh Nation and Swxwú7mesh Úxwumixw.

qathet Community Justice via Lift Community Services provides vital services and supports for many individuals in our community. I’m pleased they received a grant to help them to continue restorative justice programming in the region of qathet within the traditional territory of the Tla'amin, shíshálh, Klahoose, Homalco, and K’ómoks First Nations. It was great to speak with Siobhan Brown, Program Coordinator for qathet Community Justice to announce this funding!
More vaccine clinics added including one today on Texada and two more dates added for Powell River on May 11 & 12.

I went on the first ever known e-bike scavenger hunt today. I found some new trails and got pictures I wouldn't have otherwise taken, but didn't come close on points. It was a beautiful day for it. You can visit TraC Sunshine Coast to add your voice for better active transportation infrastructure.
Nick's going to be visiting Texada Islanders tomorrow! Come by and say hi!
