Branding Personification Branding can in hospitality can tricky. One of the ways the tools to help develop your brand is to create a brand persona or to personify your brand. A brand personality is what your brand would look like or be like if it were a person. As an example, we can compare a dude ranch in Alberta with a boutique hotel in downtown Toronto. If the dude ranch were a person they would probably have calluses, wear jeans, cowboy boots and would have a more relaxe...d easy pace about their day and be very interested in nature. If the hotel in Toronto were a person they would probably be wearing designer fashions, their pace would be faster and their interests may be in arts and entertainment. By creating a brand persona you can start to define the images and the language that you would use in your promotional material, it will also help you to narrow in on your target market. By creating a clear image of your brand it will help you stay on track with your service offerings as well. Be Professional Be polite and respectful, even if they are not, take the high road and don’t let temporary negative emotions leave a permanent impression. Context People reading the negative content will need context, show those that are not aware of what happened. Remove the Comment If the person is swearing, the post can be removed. There are other criteria beyond searing to get a review removed, but a negative review, in general, is not one of them.
