The team at Mississippi Mills has been hard at work reimagining Christmas for 2020. Celebrating may look a little different but we’re still be chalked full of C...hristmas spirit! When he heard we might have to cancel our Christmas parades Santa Claus called to say he still wanted to come to town to say hello to all the Mississippi Mills kids who have been extra good this year. Lucky for us the Mississippi Mills Fire Department was eager to help! December 5th and 6th Santa will make FIVE trips around different parts of Mississippi Mills. Our local Firefighters will be walking the route to collect your letters for Santa and donations to the food bank! And this is just the beginning! We’ll have fun videos, an interactive Christmas decor map and more. To all our trick-or-treater friends: You all know we love Halloween here at Nicholson’s! Things may look a little different this year, but that’s ok! We know that everyone is going to do their best in making sure that our little town stays as safe as can be. While that means we may miss out on seeing some of your smiling faces, we hope that you won’t forget to visit us next year! For those of you who do plan on spooking up the streets tonight, there will be a table set up outside the store with goodie bags for all of our friends. Please help yourself! We’d also love to take a picture of your costume to be displayed in our window. The ‘Best Costume’ winner will go home with a family movie night package! Have a safe and happy Halloween!

Happy Friday! We have a new batch of handmade adult and kids’ face masks in just in time for school! There are 2 sizes of kids’ masks available with tons of different patterns to choose from. Adult masks are $10.00 and kids’ masks are $8.00 (cash only). Have a great weekend!

Hi Pakenham! We’re looking to hire a friendly, hard-working individual to join our team here at Nicholson’s! Effective Tuesday, July 7th, all persons entering the store will be required to wear a face mask.

We will now be accepting bottle and can returns on the following days: Sundays 3pm - 6pm Mondays 2pm - 5pm... Return limits per person are as follows: 600 Cans 240 Beer Bottles 50 Wine/Liquor Bottles Please be advised, all cans must be packaged in clear bags. Upon arrival, please notify an employee and they will assist you in placing your returns in their designated locations. Lastly, we kindly ask that everyone respect the social distancing measures that will be in effect while returning your empties as well as in the store. Thanks!

Happy May long weekend! The store and LCBO will be open 9am-9pm all weekend including holiday Monday! Our summer products are in, and we are now offering more than 30 NEW flavours of coolers and beer - make sure to come check them out!... For everyone that’s been missing our 5 cent candies, we’re putting together some special goody bags to get you through the weekend. For every bag purchased we’ll be donating $1 to our local food bank. Just a couple other friendly reminders: - We are once again selling OLG products (excluding instant validation games), however we are not redeeming tickets at this time - We are currently not accepting bottle or can returns We hope to see you this weekend!
