NBCC Update July 18,2020 Dear Member: Please be advised.... 1. The Executive of the NBCC has unanimously agreed that due to the Covid-19 pandemic that we are now experiencing, the 2020 Coin & Stamp Show that was scheduled for Saturday October 3rd has been Cancelled. We are planning to have a Show in 2021 if conditions pertaining to the pandemic improve. 2. Notification of the Show cancellation was sent to all Dealers that were scheduled to attend. 3. The Session at Calvin has had two meetings regarding the re-opening of the Church, and are waiting for word from our Governing body as to when the Presbyterian Churches in Canada will be allowed to open to the general public. This also includes all meetings and social gatherings. 4. As soon as we receive word that the Church will once again be open to the public for Sunday service and social gatherings, you will be notified by your Executive. 5. Stay safe, enjoy your hobby, and let's hope that we will be meeting in the not too distant future.

I got a flyer in the mail today about some company coming to town to "buy" your coins & paper money and many other things. Please warn everyone that you know that when you sell something "collectable" to make sure that your source is reputable. For example, the Nickel Belt Coin Club will, for no cost, give you a general idea of what you may have. If you are not familiar with your collection, using a company that show up for a couple of days is usually not the way to go.
