I may be a few days late, but #letstalk . I’ve been using social media less because whenever I do I feel pressure from being surrounded by success and happiness, and I have trouble accepting where I am at in my life. I am part of that problem though. I have always used social media as a collection of my greatest hits. Though in truth I often struggle with my relationships, my art, and many aspects of my life. For me feeling sad often results in putting the guitars away and pl...aying single player video games. I think I’ve beaten 5 or 6 games since last March, or maybe invested some 400+ hours. I’ve struggled to write for the past ~2ish~ years. I haven’t finished writing a song in about a year. I often get upset with myself when it feels like my art isn’t any good. I’ve thought many times about changing careers, and am quite daunted by the work involved and by the idea of changing my life so much. I have lost people in my life to suicide, in the past year, and throughout my life. I have seen people that I love lose their friends and family, and felt their pain and loss. . Without this amazing fluffy dog and the support of my friends, family, and my partner, I don’t know where I’d be. . I’m always available to talk, and I’ll try to be more open from now on. See more

I have two new songs slated for release this month! . Drumroll please... . Independently funded and largely created thanks to the generous nature of my friends and the vast capabilities and the internet, with motivations based around creating art and staving off boredom, with contributions from many parties spanning the vastness of time and space (from Vancouver Island between 2018 and 2020), I am so proud to bring you this A side B side project called 'So It Goes'!... . Some of the instruments were recorded two years ago in my parents basement. Both drum tracks were recorded by different players in different drum rooms. Piano recorded in Fernwood! Many of the vocals and other tracks were recorded in my house, with some recorded in studio in Qualicum and Oak Bay, and in a condo located downtown in Victoria. Violin was recorded in a home studio in Nanaimo and in Qualicum, and Cello recorded in the depths of Gordon Head! .
