Nick has been working on some exclusive fizzy specials for his 2021 season! Yes, we are coming back to support our type 1 families this summer! Just wanted to shine light and applaud Dalhousie University for doing what many refuse (prov. governments included) Including Flash Glucose Monitors (like the Libre Nick rocks daily) and the Continuous Glucose Monitor (like the Dexcom Jackson Rocks daily) in their student medical plan!! It's HUGE HUGE news! These devices are safety nets and can allow t1d's to more accurately monitor and react to their insulin needs - resulting in healthier t1d's = people being able to focus on school/work/relationships/life in general! These devices are EXPENSIVE, we are fortunate to have health coverage to assist with some of these costs BUT many do not. Nick is applying to this youth entrepreneur cohort to bring his lemonade dreams to the next level! This program is FREE and open to Atlantic Youth ages 10-25 with a business idea! Applications are still open - chance to learn business building skills and access funding up to $5000!

Diabetes besties Nick is having a long over due visit with his dcamps bff Jackson! They attended a Dose of DCamps together this morning and had fun creating their monsters out of used diabetes supplies! Tomorrow is a scavenger hunt!
