If you haven't pre booked your appointments, you may have noticed that when you go online to do so it may be tricky to get in for your desired time period. For those on a strict schedule with appointments (lashes and electroylsis clients, I'm looking at you!), I am advising booking out as far as the online system/my schedule lets you, which is for the next 8 weeks. As always, it's best to be sure your appointments are pre booked out in advance. In general my schedule books ...6 weeks in advance, and evening (from 3PM onward) and weekend appointments are now booked until October. https://www.schedulicity.com/scheduling/NBESYQ I do have a cancellation list, however always suggest taking a peak online for openings that come up as sometimes they are changed and then booked in within a matter of moments all while I am working with clients.

What do both of these have in common... You got it, fall shed!! SO WHY DO LASHES SHED IN THE FALL?... Why our lash cycle changes in fall isnt entirely known, but its thought that the beginning of this change actually happens mid-summer. On average, the cycle of a single lash lasts somewhere between 60 and 90 days, with the active growth (Anagen) phase lasting 15-20 days, the transitional (Catagen) phase lasting 14-21 days, and the resting (Telogen) phase lasting 30-45 days. During summer, intense heat may trigger more lash hairs to go into the resting phase, halting growth, and causing them to fall out over the next month or two. Additionally, changes in humidity that occur in the autumn months can play a role in your lashes growth cycle. If your skin is very dry, your hair follicles (located just under the skin) dont get the nourishment they need for your lashes to grow. This causes brittle lashes that are more likely to fall out before their time is up. What this may mean for you... Lashes not looking as full after a fill (the health of your baby lashes is more important) Less time in between refills. Dont forget, if your lashes are at less than 50 percent, its considered a full set and we may need to reschedule due to needing more time. I also need to know this prior to your appointment (24 hour policy applies here) if we need to adjust!

Upon receiving the latest safety protocols put in place by the Cosmetology Association of New Brunswick, I am wanting to send out a reminder to clients that masks are mandatory. Taken from CANB email: "Salons that have implemented safety measures that allows for the provision of services involving the face may permit clients to remove their face covering during the service but must put it back on once the service is complete."... Your mask must be put on before you enter for your appointment. Meaning when you enter for your appointment, your mask is on. If you have a service such as a facial, dermaplaning, upper lip wax or electrolysis in where your mask will be needing to be removed, I will advise when you may do so. Please do not show up without a mask knowing that eventually you have to remove it anyway. You will then put your mask on immediately following the service and it will be needing to be worn until you fully exit. If you arrive without a mask, I do have some available for a $2 fee. Again, these updated regulations are set out by the association and must be followed in order for me to be open. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation, Nicole

Today is #internationaldogday ! Some of you have heard her bark (first client perk), drinking water loudly upstairs, or her sniffing at the barn door. Yesterday I am so grateful that dog loving clients were in and you allowed her to have a visit during the thunderstorm. This is my Golden Retriever, Rosie. And we are both so thankful for my amazing clientele who say hello to her when they come in through the door and times like yesterday allow her to be near for comfort.

If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or any symptoms of illness you will need to reschedule your appointment. If youre showing any signs or symptoms upon arrival and have not notified me prior, you will need to leave immediately and the same fee for a no show will apply which is 100% of the service(s) booked. The door will be locked until approximately 5 minutes before your appointment time. If you arrive earlier, you will need to wait in your car until the space is r...eady for you. I require 15 minutes before and after each client for proper sanitation and disinfection. If you arrive and the door is locked, please know that I am still sanitizing and wont be much longer. In saying this its very important to keep in mind that unfortunately the end of your appointment with me is not time for chat, I do need that time immediately completing your service for prep for my next client. You will be required to answer screening questions at your arrival. Come to your appointment by yourself. Bringing a guest in with you is not permitted at this time. Please be sure that your appointment time also coincides with a time you have child care in place. Upon entering, you must use the hand sanitizer provided in touchless/motion sensor dispenser provided on the ledge. Avoid going into the bathroom unless you have to use the bathroom. Youll be asked to wear a mask during the entire service. For some services this may not be possible, but please come prepared with a clean/new mask to your appointment. I have disposable available for a small fee in the event you forget yours or do not have one. If you need to purchase any retail products or gift certificates, you will need to contact me to set up a time to do so. Doorstep pick ups are still available. If you have an appointment and need to purchase retail while you are here, please notify me prior to for those items to be set aside or extra time to consult. The retail area is a NO TOUCH area and you will need to ask me for assistance when needing an item. Cancellation policy remains the same. A minimum of 24 hours is needed for notice in the event you cannot attend to avoid any fees.
