Did you hear the good news? Today marks the first day of my new #QUARATINECHALLENGE. If you were around in March you probably saw a bit about it (and hopefully were of the hundreds who joined in). This challenge is going to encourage you to try new things, to find new joys, and hopefully help keep the "groundhog day" effect that lockdown can have on us at bay.... The full details are in my stories, but as a bonus for anyone who read this caption: share this post to your stories with the caption "Have you heard the good news?" (and be sure to tag me @nicolevallancephotography so I can see it) to instantly win 5 entries for the challenge The prize? An amazing photoshoot with me, or, if you're a photographer, a mentoring session to help you reach those photography and business goals. #weddingphotographer #QUARATINECHALLENGE #yqg #weddingphotographers #photographers #d750 #nikon #canon #photographerlife #weddingphotographerlife #windsor #windsorphotographers #windsorontariophotographers #essexcounty

Top reasons to have a winter wedding: 1) Vendor flexibility. Do you have your heart set on a stunning venue, but they're booking years in advance? Maybe photography is your #1 priority, but your favourite photographer is booked solid (). Winter dates are usually the most flexible so you don't have to compromise on the vendors that matter most to you. 2) Winter sunsets are unreal. Having the sun set earlier in the day means that you're basically guaranteed to be outside fo...r photos during golden hour, which is the BEST time of days for photos. The rest of the year usually forces you to miss some of your dinner to fit golden hour photos in, but not in the winter. 3) If you're anything like me, you'd way rather be a bit chilly vs. sweating and overheating. Doing photos in colder weather means your makeup won't melt off and your hair won't frizz from humidity. Can you think of other reasons that winter weddings rock? Let me know in the comments below
