Bit of skin fade action on my man Lavoy. He first sat in my chair when I was in hairschool, back then we used to struggle a lot with his growth pattern around where his hair was parted. The top of his sides would always flick up & cause some trouble with styling. We’ve since shifted the angle of his part line to blend the sides & top together at the back, gradually building up length towards the front to maintain the shape & height. A couple years back when Paul first sat in my chair I planted the idea of this haircut in his head, he was scared to try it then as we’re many people and opted for something more traditional. Needless to say over the years we’ve built up some trust and he was finally ready to try it. Another lockdown buzz growing out. Abel’s hair has a great growth pattern for fading so we took it right down to the skin to emphasize what length is left on the top. Shaved a line into the side for a tasteful amount of edginess. After taking the trusted #4 guard to his dome over lockdown the top of Luke’s hair is long enough to work with again. Skin fade on the sides to accentuate his already strong head shape with some rough texture carved into the top for that natural rugged look. @evandesrosiers has one of my favourite cuts I get to do. I always try to work with a clients hair type to create some uniqueness and individuality. Evan’s head is very square on the sides, allowing us to take his skin fade higher than most people’s head shape allows.
