Arbutus - bleached. This "closed form" is the second of two pieces in the Sooke Fine Arts Exhitiion 2017.

Two exhibitions I have been juried into this summer are: AAW's "Waves of Grain" opened at the symposium in Kansas City, june 22 and the "Sooke Fine Arts Exhibition" in Sooke, Vancouver Island.

I have always liked doing long tailed hollow turnings and adding different decorative inserts in the openings. Kind of interesting how we seem to consistently gravitate toward a particular form over the years.
