OSHA states that an electrical worker is one of the most dangerous jobs in the U.S. 5-10 arc flash accidents happen every day, resulting in 2 deaths. An arc fl...ash can produce temperatures of of 35,000 degrees F more than three times the temperature of the surface of the sun. At those temperatures ALL know materials are vaporized resulting in extremely rapid expansion of air and sprays molten metal at 700mph. The blast itself produces 140Db which will cause loss of hearing. 2 out of 3 arc flashes are caused by inappropriate action of the electrician. These risks can greatly be reduced. To my fellow electricians out there be safe, take your time, don't allow any distractions, know the equipment, practice lock out tag out, and always ALWAYS where the proper PPE for the equipment you’re working on. Constant refresher education is always good practice. Be safe out there!

Just another long 14hr day getting everything together to give the client power again. Not an easy job. Nighthawk is definitely going home to have a whiskey.

A new upgrade. Tore out a old DC driver and installed a state of the art electrical DV Driver. Lot of fun
