Don’t wash your hair = feeling like a beach babe. Or something. Anyone out there feeling the same way? It may seems gross for a lot of people but my only washing sessions in the past weeks have been about bathing in streams, cold ocean water and quarry pools. I feel rejuvenated and alive. Soap is overrated and so is cleanliness. Dirt is good. Clean water is best. And fresh air is golden. So voila #immunesystembooster #cleanwaterforall

Hey! This is me, on the beach a few days ago. We took a heli ride to get this magnificent place. Parts of me felt very lucky and grateful and at the same time, I felt confronted to other ideas I was holding on to while on this little trip. This might seem very personal but I have been feeling a need for much deeper connections and intimacy with myself and others recently. Its a calling that comes from the heart and the womb and even the mind and there is no stopping it. So ...many times in my life I have chosen the hardest path in order to grow. I always wanted to suppress any wild emotions and desires I had because of the fear of being judged or not accepted. Right now, so many things are transforming in this world and I am transforming too. We are all being called to going back to our own source of darkness and light and love. I have been trying to work on smaller and more subtle feelings. The moments I let myself drift away from my center, on so many occasions, are constant reminders of why I am living the life that Im living and what experiences I choose to vibrate with on a daily basis. And acceptance has been a huge one for me. Accepting that I ultimately have no control over anyone or anything, only the way I feel things, embrace them as they come, and then let them go. My friend and I, both being in or near our moon cycles, decided to bathe naked into the ocean, releasing sounds and movements and gratitude for that very moment. It was so powerful and much needed. Going back to my own inner waters, letting it flow in and out of me and listening to the clarity of my inner feminine guidance, where fears are being supported and cared for and listened to. This is the life I choose to live and this is the work I consciously want to do everyday. No matter where I am or what I do, my purpose is to live a life of love. . . . Thanks @______jennyg______ for this moment #begrateful #innerpeace #pnw #mindfulliving

In stillness there is peace and answers. The more we allow our body to feel what needs to be felt, the more we experience release and develop a better capacity to hold space for those feelings, to hold space for our own journey. We have the responsibility to honor the full spectrum of who we really are, and this is something that is best done if we accept the pain, the anger, the self loathing we create towards ourself. We need to look at these darker & heavier energies we ca...rry within and give them space to feel alive and be transformed. Not by suppressing it and feeling ashamed, but by acknowledging each and every little traumas and karmas we hold on to. As humans, wehave the power to change everything we have previously created but also change the way we heal ourselves. Deeper, more conscious healing. From the core of our soul to the tip of our toes. And we are being asked to do so by slowing down. I feel lucky beyond words to be in flow with the Universe, to just trust and love and learn from nature itself everyday. . . . #wellness #holistichealth #pnw See more

For the past couple months, Ive been dedicating all my time, heart and soul to cooking food, which I love, and through this process I realize how much I need to be focused and present. Everyday I miss my home and my gardens, my family, my friends, the things that I would normally do. Somedays I feel very alone. I had a pretty beautiful vision of Ganesha (the deity with an elephant representation) while meditating the other day. He came to my third eye chakra as I was in chil...ds pose and it just happened to be the day of his birth. A ten day celebration dedicated to him, the one who helps in removing obstacles from our lives, while at the same time making us fully conscious of the process. I decided to take a break from daily wine drinking and use of cannabis. I wanted to feel my body and my mind and know exactly why I was getting myself stuck up in a so-called unhealthy addiction, even though very moderate. I was thinking about all the things that my mind is projecting that stops me from being my highest self. Like the fear of missing out instead of being fully open to receive everydays life blessings, or the simple fact that I am too tired to deal with some emotions and instead of making it a big deal, I simply embrace the unknown, and not hold on to it. Its nice to release control and surrender to lifes natural flow. Ive been listening a lot of selflove/selfpleasure podcasts recently. I am trying to connect with a deepest part of me that feels safe and loved. Somedays its harder than others but I believe that the biggest obstacle is not being able to receive the love that we are willing to give. And its mostly a solo thing. Opening our heart center and filling it up with the most beautiful intentions will help in manifesting anything we truly and most authentically desire. I believe we are all experiencing the healing of the feminine energy at this moment in time. Its big and its scary because we have the power to heal very ancient traumas and we are being supported by so many sisters and brothers while doing so. I think its time to reconnect with the softest part of ourselves. And keep being in service of humanity. . #selflovejourney #heal #feminineenergy See more

Picture taken from the most amazing book #renegadebeauty Its hard to describe with words how important it is to nurture our inner beauty daily in order to feel safe and experience a life of love and kindness. It all comes from the inside and this book is a bible for self care. I got to know about Nadine Artemis in the #medicinestoriespodcast which I LOVE and I immediately ordered a bunch of her products @livinglibations and got her book too. It talks deeply to my soul and I... highly recommend reading her book + purchasing her beauty products + essential oils. There is so much we need to learn about ourselves and start taking actions on deeper levels for our health. Mind health, sexual health, body health, reconnecting the the source of our joy and purity. So there you go. A little bit of what Im into these days. Plus all the cooking obviously, as always. Sending love x . . . #holistichealing #health #innerbeauty #selfcare See more

Seriously though. Yoga keeps my body & mind sane right now. The physical part of it is nice, feeling and experiencing energy through my flesh and bones. Knowing I am strong enough to do the things I do. But mostly yoga helps me with having a discerning and conscious mind and allows me to go deeper into the inner work. I have been working for two months straight now, in isolation from the world we are actually living in. Time goes by like its always the same day, yet so much ...is happening. Reality seems to be elsewhere but also reality is right here with me. Having selflove practices through breathing and mindfulness makes me realize everyday how important it is to support ourself first in order to be available for the people around us. In order to serve others we must learn to be in service of our own intimacy and inner expansion. Right now my practice is about anchoring myself in bed and doing as little as possible until the night takes me away. . . . #expandingconsciousness #lifestyle See more

I love the smell, the color and the texture of kelp. Seaweeds are such a wonderful source of phytonutrients and iodine which is much needed to regulate thyroid functions. They just happen to float freely around here which is a real blessing. Heres the blanching process which turns the kelp a bright vibrant color. A few seconds in boiling water and then straight into an ice bath. Its very exciting everytime! . . . #kelp #eatseaweed #seaweed #localfood #kelpharvest #pnw #edibleseaweed #realfood

I believe gratitude is the most powerful tool one can use in life. Today I had the chance to see two humpback whales jumping around the boat while catching coho salmon. It was such a remarkable experience. I felt freedom running through my whole body, whispering words of infinite wisdom. I feel so lucky and appreciative of everything about this life Ive been given. Its the best way to celebrate my magical goddess bday @elenaiago for whom I hold a sacred space deep into my heart. She is the one who has been the most present in difficult transitions in my life and I wanna express how much light and love this woman deserves. Sometimes I find myself drifting away from the routine that keeps me grounded. Wether its because of a lack of time or just plain undisciplined mind. I stopped today and tried to contemplate my thoughts. Having a really pitta fiery mind I often get caught up in old memories or fears of inferiority. And it never seems to be helping out. So I ran a bath and tried to slow down for a hour or so. I consciously breathed out some sh*t and inhaled as deeply as possible fresh, clean, energy. I made some tea with all my favourite heart opening & anxiolytic herbs, oats, rose, chamomile, licorice, raspberry leaf. And I let myself drifting back to a fuller, more compassionate self . . . #herbs #herbsheal #equanimity

The road to the generator, is where we harvest our plants around here. Its grizzly territory so theres always this feeling of having to keep our eyes and ears fully opened. Anyways, even if we did tried to get into the forest, it is so dense and thick that its almost always impossible to find a way in. So we contemplate and admire the beauty of the cedar trees and the salal bush growing in harmony from where we stand. . . . #respectnature #herbs #plants #pnw

This day will be remembered forever. Traditional sockeye salmon smoking with Western Red Cedar. Feeling so grateful for this wonderful experience. I got the chance to go catch this fish with Wuikinuxv (Owekano) First Nation brothers Chief Ted & Dwayne Walkus. Being on their territory means respecting all of the natural laws and protecting the land and its inhabitants. Ted told me that whatever you harvest out there, must never go unnoticed. So we thank the fish and the cedar trees and the water and the beach for feeding us and interacting with us and supporting our lives. One of the most powerful way of being in harmony with myself is through the relationship I nurture with my environment and communication with the plants all around me. Plant Communication is not like talking to humans, although it might look really much like it at times... PC is a form of commitment to nature, to its different cycles and to the way life is unfolding and contracting continuously. We too have the capacity to witness our own expansion and contraction. In tantra,... this would relate to Spanda, the pulsing of the Universe. Sometimes we get so caught up with words and perceptions of things that we forget about the natural beauty in everything. Beauty is everywhere and within everything if you choose to see it. Working alongside nature is the best way to learn when to push and when to rest. When it is appropriate to talk, or just to listen without any judgements. Especially for ourselves. I notice as the Moon wanes, how much there is to learn about self nurturing. Everyone around me seem to be taking more time to appreciate their surrendering to natures natural support. Through elements, love, sun, food, generosity of the heart. Connection with the plants is about connecting to our yin side. The feminine. The one that uses softness and compassion towards lifes many challenges. We havent learned to be soft, nor commutative of our own emotions. But its okay. Because we must learn it from a deeper place. Releasing limitations of the mind and open up to the juicy joyful life that weve been given - Harvesting viola at home to make cooling vinegar just after morning dew has escaped back to the sky! . . . #herbs #wildflowers #herbalism #nature #thoughts #tantra #journeytohealth @ Quebec, Quebec See more

First time making kimchi with kelp. Exploring some new fermentation avenues looooovin it! Fermented foods are amazing allies when it comes to gut health, which is also home to our immune system, emotions, vital energy. Slowly incorporating fermented food in your diet will bring a lot of good bacterias in your body. And after all, there are much more bacterias in the body than human cells.
