Thank you to my neighbor Nicole Slivenski who gave me some good advice and provided me with the proper paint to redo this old shelf and give it new life. I wasn...t sure how to paint veneer, but she sells a good quality mineral paint that holds up and sticks really well. Sanding was not required.
