These smiles say it ALL! Kathleen and Matthew are MARRIED! Halloween night, was a beautiful, intimate evening with 7 guests (along with many special friends and family watching on the live stream). This beautiful Canadian/Australian love story (a theme for me!) was perfectly celebrated! The decor was over the top gorgeous, designed and planned by the wildly talented @catrionahunks (who also created the florals, hair styling and calligraphy), assisted by @coriellew & @jaclyn_renaud! The phenomenal Pamela with @hpmakeupartistry came through with the glam! Kathleen’s dad’s home was a dreamy location for these lovers to say I do! TODAY IS THE DAY! I am headed to the @truetohue workshop at the @northlandhistoricestate by @bronte.bride and @momentsbymadeleineyyc! I am road tripping with my buddy @kaitybody and we couldn’t be more excited to see the beauty that is this shootout series! Last week on my birthday getaway, I had a very special shoot that has been i...n the works for YEARS! When I started my photography business I was living in Sioux Lookout, Ontario (where is that you ask? WAAAAY far away! 20 hours from YYC and 20 hours from Toronto! ) right smack dab in the middle of north western Ontario! it was remote living while my hubby was working as a medi-vac Pilot! Before moving back home to Alberta, I had the privilege to shoot a family session booked by Sabina’s mom. It turns out that Sabina continued to follow my work after we moved away and after seeing another shoot I did at Moraine Lake it was her DREAM to have an engagement shoot there with me! Her fiancé Jeff thoughtfully surprised her and booked the session over a year ago (we were actually supposed to shoot in June but Covid ) and they travelled nearly 10 hours to get here! Jeff, Sabina and I had quite a few phone calls over the last few months and they are dear friends! What an unbelievable honour to capture this dream come true! @ Moraine Lake Sabina Haidon @jeffshumka
