But at some point I would like for us to Feast the Grand Father Drum in such a way that we still take safety precautions into consideration. You Young Men may not even be able to Drum together on Nimkii Aanakwat, but we can still Celebrate in a Ceremony and you Boys may have to consider Drumming wtih Hand Drums, which is a great transition and idea. I am just planting seeds, to think ab...out Nimkii Aanakwat / Thunder Cloud Grand Father Drum, put out your Asemah / Tobacco /Some say Sema, to acknowledge that Spirit in the Grand Father Drum. Not to Forget Him, ask him to come and he will be with you. Nimkii Aanakwat Drum and Singers: Remembering Our Grand Father Nimkii Aanakwat, due to the QUARANTINE STAY HOME 2020 we will not be Hosting a FEAST, but we can do our Own Personal Ceremony or maybe something on line, we will figure this out. Hopefully you Young Fellas / Eshkinijig Ininiwag are Practicing your songs and learning new songs <3 Miss you all and keep your Spirits Up.
